PASSION

Growing up healthcare was never a passion of mine, at least that’s what I thought. All throughout college and even grad school it never crossed my mind that healthcare was my calling. I had tunnel vision when it came to my career goals. I always had a passion for service but just in a different way. It was not until recently that I realized healthcare was my call for service. My mother has always been my biggest inspiration in life especially when it pertained to healthcare. Although my Mother never had the opportunity to obtain a higher education, she was exceptionally skilled within her field and that is what I admire the most . . . her perseverance. Any question no matter how small or how extensive she always had an answer for me.

You will never fully understand the word passion until you’ve felt it. My Mom is a person that  will sacrifice her well being to make sure that you or whom ever she is serving is satisfied. I wish to embody and reciprocate the passion that she feels daily. I have grown to not only love what I do but to appreciate it as well. To know that I had the amazing opportunity to help take care of my grandfather for the last few years of his life was a blessing. Some people do not have that opportunity so I want to make sure that I am giving their loved ones the best quality of care, to treat them as if they were my own. I have found where I belong.
